Instructions for Electronic signing

  1. When you select the option “Sign” in the service provider application, you get redirected to the SI-PASS system. If you are not already logged in to the system, select one of the offered login methods. If you wish to log in with your certificate, select the “Qualified certificate issued in EU” option. 
  2. If you do not have a valid SI-PASS certificate, you will begin with the acquisition procedure in the next step, as you will electronically sign documents in the SI-PASS system with it. Select the “Certificate acquisition” option.
  3. Please confirm the transmission of data to the SI-PASS service by clicking “Confirm”. In the next step of acquiring the SI-PASS certificate, enter your SI-PASS password, which you have acquired upon your SI-PASS account registration. Check the “I accept the terms of use” box and click “Confirm”. 
  4. If you forgot your SI-PASS password, you can reset it. The password reset procedure is described in the chapter “SI-PASS Password Reset”.
  5. In the next step, your SI-PASS certificate will be issued; this may take up to ten seconds. 
  6. When the SI-PASS certificate is issued, you will receive the notification seen below. By selecting “Back to e-Signature” you will be redirected to the electronic signature form.
  7. On the form, you will see the name of the document you are signing. You can also view PDF documents by clicking the eye icon. In order to electronically sign the document, enter you SI-PASS password and select “Sign”. 
  8. After you have successfully electronically signed the document, you will be redirected back to the application where you began the electronic signature process.

SI-PASS Password Reset

  1. If you forgot your SI-PASS password, you can reset it in the SI-PASS certificate acquisition process.
  2. At the bottom of the screen under the “Other options” select “Password reset”.
  3. In the next step, you will receive a notification that all your existing SI-PASS certificates will be revoked in the process and you will have to repeat the process of acquiring a certificate. 
  4. Select “Password reset”.
  5. In the next step enter your e-mail address used as the user name for logging in the SIPASS system and enter the random set of numbers. Please make sure that you have access to the specified e-mail address and select “Confirm”.
  6. In the next step, select the method for resetting your password. You can reset your password either by using your certificate or by answering your security question. The following is a case of password reset using the certificate (select “Continue with additional login”).
  7. In the next step enter your new SI-PASS password, which you will use both for logging in the SI-PASS system and electronic signing of documents, then select “Confirm”.
  8. After specifying a new password, you will receive a notification with further instructions.
  9. You will receive an e-mail with a web link, through which you will have to confirm your password reset. To confirm, click on the web link.
  10. You will be redirected to the SI-PASS system, where you will enter, in the last step, your e-mail address and your new password and select “Confirm”. 
  11. If the login is successful, you will receive a notification that the procedure was successfully completed.
