SI-PASS enables authentication with a suitable means of identification for the chosen method of login:
- Digital cerificates
- Mobile Identity smsPASS
- SI-PASS user name and password
- Google, Facebook and Microsoft user account
- Crossborder EU authentication
The set of allowed means of authentication is determined by the service provider of each electronic service. For electronic services requiring reliable user identification, a qualified digital certificate or a mobile identity of smsPASS is required.
Citizens of other EU Member States and foreigners who have the appropriate means of identifying can also authenticate through SI-PASS.
SI-PASS supports single sign on and single sign out of the user that makes easier to use several electronic services. It only requires one-time login and one-time logout of the user from SI-PASS and consequently from all the services that were used.
In the authentication process SI-PASS can also provide other electronic services certain user data but always only with user consent.
